Here's how to take the bus to Hakuba from your area.
From the Tokyo area (Shinjuku)
Alpico bus Hakuba-Shinjuku Buses
are available from Shinjuku Station to Hakuba.
From the Nagoya area (Nagoya Station)
Alpico bus Nagoya-Matsumoto Buses are available from Nagoya to Matsumoto. From Matsumoto Station take the JR Ooito line to Hakuba. Click
on the above link for more details. Though you will need to book ahead of time, Hakuba 47 runs a special direct bus service. Please contact them for more details.
From Nagano take the Alpico Bus to Hakuba. Buses run every hour. The last bus for Hakuba departs at around 8. It costs 1,400 yen per person one way.
Buses depart from the East (Higashi) exit of Nagano Station from bus stop 6. It takes about 1 hour.
From Osaka or Kyoto
Alpico bus Osaka-Matsumoto Buses are available from Osaka to Mastumoto and Hakuba. Though you will need to book ahead of time,
